Are you buying hops for a commercial craft brewery or nano-brewery? Because hops are a raw manufacturing ingredient, your bulk purchases are legally exempt from sales tax.
While our website charges standard retail sales tax by default, we can quickly flip your account to Tax-Exempt Status so you never pay tax at checkout.
🕒 How to Get Tax-Exempt Status in 3 Simple Steps:
  1. Create a Customer Account: Click the "Account" icon at the top of our website and register using your commercial brewery's email address.
  3. Send Us Your Resale Certificate: Email a digital copy (PDF or photo) of your state Resale Certificate, Permit to Purchase Raw Materials, or Manufacturing Exemption Form to office@nortthwesthops.us
  5. Wait for Confirmation: Our team in Yakima will review your certificate and update your Shopify profile within 1 business day. We will send you a confirmation email once your account is ready.
